Hairy situation!

Like I previously mentioned, I have two precious FUR babies....and I emphasize the fur because their fur is literally EVERYWHERE! A year ago Posty, our youngest was brought into our home and had a really rough time potty training, one thing led to another and we had to replace our 6 month old carpet with a very nice luxury vinyl plank. Now don't get me wrong, I absolutely love it and it truly is beautiful but HOLY COW do you see every speck of dust and DOG hair that ever lands on it. That being said, Posty is a lab boxer mix and sheds 3 lbs of hair if you even look at her too long. London of course sheds as well and she is a Carin Terrier and gets a little fluffy between haircuts but it still doesn't come close to the amount we see from Miss Post.

So in my neck of the woods, and by woods I mean house....because I don't leave often (lol). Ive found that cleaning schedules (honestly any schedule, I'm a big planner) work best for me and my chaotic life to stay on track. Fridays I started noticing lots of back pain from the amount of times I was sweeping and re-sweeping and then vacuuming after that. Why don't you just vacuum the whole house and call it good, you ask? Well let me just tell you why, whenever I solely use the vacuum on this floor, it will shoot any and everything right out the back creating a bigger mess. AND YES I've rigged that baby up with a nice painters tape backer to collect all the backlash but even that didn't cure the problem.

Fast forward to Thursday afternoon, I came home from my dentist Appt and found a plethora of Amazon packages(daily occurrence)...once reaching the last package I realize that the last one I wasn't quite sure WHAT it was...opened it up and it was a robot vacuum!! Have you ever cried over a vacuum? No?.....Me either lol. Clearly I did not purchase this vacuum but my dear friend did and inside was the sweetest note and I'm a sucker for surprises and good friends. Side note, I am 30 years old and the friends I have made in my adult years have been the absolute best and most thoughtful group of women ever! And I'm not saying that because they spoil me, because those are just material things but just the generosity and love they bring is amazing.

ANYWHO, I plug this puppy in and Mambo (yes I named my vacuum) legit KILLED it. Peep the pic of HAIR she got off the floor (and crumbs, thanks kids) and I swear I just did my whole sweeping routine just a week prior with mid week clean ups as well!
